Accidents can come in many forms, but they all bear a certain degree of trauma in common. Even a minor fender-bender can entail repair costs or medical bills that are difficult for the average person to pay unprepared. The accidents that cause more damage or worse injury can be financially ruinous without legal compensation to offset the huge costs. The most tragic accidents, in which a life is lost, may have no monetary cost, but the suffering for those left behind is the worst to bear. Legal compensation for wrongful death is no less just than any other form.
